2.  Why and How to Clear Your Cache?

Running out of disk space? Can't stop your browser from loading an out-of-date page or an image? Your browser taking longer to exit? Your Java applet is misbehaving?

One of the answers to all of the above questions may be to clear your browser's cache. Almost all web browsers maintain a local copy of web pages and other related items on your disk or memory to speedup reloading of previously visited pages from the Internet. This time saver may get bigger and slower over long periods of time. If this is causing problems, try clearing your browser cache as follows.

Internet Explorer:

Up top in the pull-down menus (File, Edit, Tools etc.),  click Tools, then 'Internet Options'
This brings up a dialog with 6 tabs across the top (General, Security, Content, .......)
Click 'General;, the look for 'Temporary Internet Files'
Click 'Delete Files', then (if it appears, check off 'Delete all offline content'; then click 'OK'.
Click 'OK' again and this should clear all cached pages.

Netscape:

Up top in the pull-down menus (File, Edit, etc.), click Edit, then 'Preferences'.
Find 'Advanced'. Click the + sign in front of the word, 'advanced'. You'll see 'Cache, Proxies, etc.........'
Click 'Cache', On the right you'll see, buttons labeled 'Clear Memory Cache' and 'Clear
Disk Cache
', First, click 'Clear Memory Cache' when the "?" dialog appears click 'OK'
Then click 'Clear Disk Cache', when the "?" dialog appears, click 'OK'.
Click 'OK' again to close the Cache Dialog box.

Mozilla Firefox 1.0:

Click Tools and select Options on the Mozilla Firefox menu bar. Click the Privacy Icon on the Option menu bar to open the Privacy Properties.  Click the Clear button across from the Cache option. Click Ok to return to the browser main page. Exit and relaunch the browser.

This will clear all old info from your browser and the error should be finished.
